London: Smith, Elder & Co., 1889. Fine Leather Binding. A book in Near Fine condition beautifully bound in full Moroccan with bright gilt rule and blind stamp details to boards, six compartments and five raised bands to spine with bright gilt details and title. A faint amount of rubbing to extremities. Binding is unsigned but most certainly bound by one of the eminent book binders of that time period. The original cloth binding is bound in the rear of the book. Binding and hinges are excellent, marbled end papers and paste downs, pages are bright and clean, no markings of any kind, no foxing except for a small amount to the first and last few pages of the book. Nicely illustrated. Book measures 7.5"x5.5". 137 Years old. A stunning example in excellent condition. . Near Fine. Item #850
