A complete 20 volume set in overall Good+ condition beautifully bound in publishers 3/4 leather with six compartments and five raised bands to spines with bright gilt details and titles. Some wear to leather corners and a few spine heads, some light scuffs to leather here and there, a couple covers with abrasions and stains (see photos). Binding and hinges are excellent, pages and text blocks are tight, feel unread, 8 volumes with damp staining to pages but mostly faint. Illustrated throughout with full page illustrations and fold out facsimiles. Books measure 8.75"x6.25". A set not without flaws but still quite attractive on the shelf. Good+. Item #1152
