Finely bound in three-quarter black crushed morocco over combed marbled paper boards. Spines feature raised bands, compartments heavily tooled with ornate gilt florets and corner flourishes, contrasting crimson morocco lettering-pieces lettered in gilt, matching marbled endpapers.

Fine bindings with bright gilt and no rubbing to joints or corners. Internally clean with text blocks firmly bound. Mild, sporadic foxing scattered across the volumes, with heavier foxing confined primarily to the preliminary and end leaves of Volume I.
